Grain Mill
Grain mills are an essential piece of equipment for commercial breweries, giving you the ability to purchase bulk grain and utilize the malt mill for milling when required. Using a malt mill not only allows you to keep your raw material costs down but using the grain as soon as crushed ensures the freshest flavors going into your mash and ultimately your final product.
While some maltsters offer grains pre-milled for convenience, milling your malt on brew day also allows you to control the crush of your grist to the ideal quality.
Pre-milled malt can quickly deteriorate over time, and depending on the batch from your maltster or supplier, you may not be getting the freshest grains available. Having a malt mill and milling on the day or even a day before brew day helps keep the malt at its freshest.
Important Reminder: Depending on your country’s requirements, you may need to look into milling operations. Some countries require explosion-proof mill rooms and explosion-proof motors. As a safety measure, Bespoke Brewing Solutions malt mills can be equipped with explosion-proof motors for the ultimate safety assurance.
Bespoke Brewing Solutions grain mills are available in different sizes, accommodating different sized brew systems.

‘Bespoke saw our potential – and we saw so much potential in them as a partner going forward. We had several other quotes from other companies, all of whom had strong names in the industry, with more experience. We went with Bespoke because of the trust factor. There was much less bureaucracy of people to deal with and other projects that took precedence. It was a very personal relationship, and John was just as invested in the outcome as we were. He said ‘we want to make it the best it can be, just like you do’ and he really meant it, you could see he was incredibly genuine.’
