Brite Beer Tanks
For a young beer, after the fermentation process is complete – the beer is ideally conditioned, carbonated and stored to become a mature, well-rounded craft beverage.
For this application, a brite beer tank (or BBT) can be employed for this process.
The design of a BBT generally consists of a torispherical top, cylindrical body and torispherical bottom. These are tanks working under pressure – so they are insulated and equipped with cooling jackets, safety fittings, CIP components and a manway for inside access.
Brite beer tanks can be manufactured in a variety of volumes and sizes, depending on the capacity of the brewery, They can be installed outside when needed (or when capacity requires a larger size).
Your BBT is the last vessel that your beer comes in contact with to become a drink that is perfectly matured, clarified and served.
While the engineering and function of a Bespoke Brewing Solutions brite tank is not nearly as complicated as a brewhouse, these vessels have important functions.
The first important function is that a BBT allows your product to relocate from the fermenter, allowing you to get another batch of wort fermenting.
A BBT also helps stabilize before packaging. While your fermenter needs to run at higher fermentation temperatures, you want your beer and bright tank at much lower temperature – to allow the beer to mature and carbonate to the correct levels.
Your Bespoke Solution
At Bespoke Brewing Solutions, we have the ability to bespoke design our brite beer tanks to meet almost any requirements you need.
We are excited by the challenges that come with unique aspects of BBT tank additions!
From a separate standpipe used for certain packaging SOPs, to single-walled mobile vessels with castors to be moved and filled in a large cold room. The sky’s the limit when it comes to the bespoke design elements of our brite beer tanks.
